About A History of Christian Doctrine
A history of the oneness of God throughout the ages, and how certain groups left God's word to please themselves. This first part corresponds to the age of the Apostles or 33 AD to around 250 AD. The old Catholic age is explored, early apologists, and the Greek thoughts on the Godhead.
Then the time from around 300 AD onwards beginning with Constantine. He speaks on the development of the trinity (trinitas means the tri-unity or three gods unified), from 325-381, the worship of idols, infant baptism, confirmation, purgatory and limbo.
From the Middle ages to early 1900's. Topics like predestination, grace, sprinkling, holiness, speaking in tongues and truth are explained.
John Wesley, Early Azusa Street events and others are explained. Parham published a book "A Voice Crying in the Wilderness' on reasons to follow God and be baptized in His name. He originally baptized in the name of Jesus, but changed up after trinitarians convinced him to change. Seymour's time on Azusa Street. William Durham's finished work of calvary.
